My DNA is beautiful!

DNArtistic opens up a whole new dimension to a portrait: now, it is possible to possess a painting generated from our own DNA! This idea saw the light of day thanks to two researchers with a highly developed artistic sense, who did not fail to notice the aesthetic side of visual representations of our genetic fingerprints. Originally intended for the identification of individuals, especially in the case of criminal investigations, our unique fingerprint is now at the service of modern art and the most avant-garde at that.

How does it all work?

Our wonderful DNA is taken - ah yes, quite mundane indeed -  by scraping inside our mouth, with the help of a Q-tip. The cells that are extracted are sent to the laboratory that will come up with our "I.D." based on DNA. The scientific procedure producing the genetic fingerprint makes each painting unique and the design obtained is the epitome of modernity. But that’s not all, jewellery pieces are also created based on the same principle!
