Behind Fueguia 1833 lies the vision of Julian Bedel, a true artist and alchemist of scents. Founded in 2010 in Buenos Aires, this exceptional perfumery house blends craftsmanship, nature, and innovation with a resolutely sustainable approach. Each fragrance, meticulously developed in its Milan-based laboratory, embodies a quest for authenticity and raw emotion, drawing from the rarest botanical resources.
Overview of the Interior Boutique of Fueguia
The very name of the house echoes a significant episode in South American colonial history, paying tribute to indigenous peoples and their ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants. This inspiration translates into a commitment to preserving biodiversity and capturing, through olfaction, the richness of Argentina's landscapes.
An Olfactory Philosophy Rooted in Exclusivity
Rare and Natural Ingredients for Fueguia Perfume Composition
Fueguia 1833 stands apart with its rigorous approach and limited production. The ingredients used are not only natural but also biodegradable, free from colorants and preservatives. Each essence is a composition where nature dictates its own variations, influenced by climate, soil, and harvest quality.
Julian Bedel, a true creator, does not conceive perfume as a mere assembly of notes but as an immersive experience. "I have never thought of perfume as such," he confides. "I have always perceived ingredients as pigments, and my mission has been to learn them, blend them, and compose olfactory landscapes."
This pursuit of authenticity translates into a meticulous artisanal process: from selecting raw materials to their extraction, from maceration to bottle design, each step is executed with precision. The fragrances evolve over time, like fine wines, gaining complexity and depth.
A Tribute to Rarity and Time

One of Fueguia 1833’s most distinctive features is its limited production. Each perfume is released in only 400 bottles, a choice dictated by the scarcity of raw materials and their availability at the time of production. This deliberate exclusivity enhances the uniqueness of each creation, reinforced by a meticulous traceability system: the year and batch number are engraved on each crystal bottle, ensuring the singularity of the fragrance.
Exceptional Crystal Bottle
The aging process is also an essential aspect of Fueguia 1833. In select boutiques, including the Paris location, a dedicated space showcases fragrances that have matured for more than five years, allowing perfume enthusiasts to explore the subtle transformations that time brings to each composition.

After New York, Tokyo, Mexico City, Seoul, London, and Buenos Aires, Fueguia 1833 has now opened its doors in Paris, at 60 Rue François 1er in the 8th arrondissement. This twelfth global boutique reflects the house’s philosophy: intimate, refined, and designed as a sanctuary of scents.
At the heart of the space, a majestic indigo-stained ashwood table displays the brand’s 106 creations. In another section, the Vintage Cave unveils aged fragrances, revealing unexpected olfactory nuances after years of maturation.
Finally, a dedicated space showcases Fueguia Casa, a collection designed to infuse interiors with exceptional scents, conceived as a natural extension of personal fragrances.
