For conservation reasons, a rotation of Couture pieces and accessories is made. Thus, in March 2018, 40 new models, including several exclusive, were subject to a new display. It features the "broken mirror" jacket, the sophisticated embroidered cape paying tribute to Georges Braque, some patchwork cocktail dresses, legendary embroidery and silk gazar fabrics.

Yves Saint Laurent idyllic Asia

From October 2nd 2018 to January 27th 2019, the Museum takes us to Asia with a temporary thematic exhibition dedicated to this continent, Yves Saint Laurent's source of inspiration. The French fashion designer, as shown by his personal library and collection of masterpieces gathered with his partner Pierre Bergé, knew the Asian History, culture and Arts by heart and, gave his own literary and imaginary vision of it in its creations. The event gathers about fifty models but also jewels, original drawings and Asian objects coming from Guimet Museum and Samuel Myers collection, known for his private collection of Asian objects and Chinese Jade, one of the biggest in the world.
