Luxury Hotel Collection

The Alpes Hotel du Pralong, a 5-star establishment, reborn in beauty in Courchevel 1850

Fans have awaited this moment eagerly. After a 3-year hiatus, this historic gem of the resort, taken over by the Dokhan Luxury Hotels group, has been completely renovated, and its numerous advantages will impress you.
Firstly, it is ideally located in the heart of the slopes of the Domaine des 3 Vallées, with ski-in/ski-out access and enchanting panoramic views.

A decoration with a northern and ethnic spirit

The hotel's renovation was entrusted to Claudia Ravnbo, a Norwegian artist and decorator who has settled in Paris and is particularly renowned for her work for Ladurée worldwide. Her strength lies in eclecticism, mixing styles with many pieces sourced and reimagined, creating a warm, elegant atmosphere without pretension but with essential details.

Fine materials, noble fabrics, and raw wood blend in a joyful mix of colors, patterns, and fabrics. Refined details such as hand-painted letters/numbers inspired by Savoyard and Scandinavian styles, ethnic cushions made in Italy, vintage finds—brass candlesticks, kilim rugs, sculptures, winter sports photos.
While green and ecru dominate, it is to better integrate nature and erase the barrier between indoors and outdoors. At the bar, around a superb double-sided fireplace, honey and rust Scandinavian armchairs reinforce the cocooning sensation.
65 spacious rooms (30 m2), including 15 suites (70 m2), successfully capture this chic refuge spirit, all offering 180° views of the mountains or slopes. In the bathrooms, Acqua di Parma products are provided.

Gourmet delights orchestrated by Flora Mikula

The Alpes Hotel du Pralong offers a gem with this fantastic and media-savvy chef, previously starred, attracting not only guests but also gourmets from Courchevel. As the Executive Chef of the Dokhan Luxury Hotels group, she designs menus for all dining spaces.
At lunch, stop by the ski on the panoramic terrace, Le Grill (150 seats), with its magnificent wood-fired Ofyr brazier: "Black Angus" Tomahawk beef, smoked poultry, and vegetables.. Music with a DJ or a fantastic playlist! And why not Petrossian caviar and a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne?

At tea time, it's impossible to resist Flora's sweet buffet, Savoie cakes, Black Forest gateau, blueberry tart, floating islands with pink pralines with hot chocolate or tea, nestled around the fireplace.

In the après-ski, the Champagne and cocktail bar comes alive, and in a lounge atmosphere (live jazz pianist in the evening), everyone can enjoy the warmth of the hearth, the caviar bar, salmon bar, or the cigar cellar... in a dedicated room.
At the Musher restaurant, open from breakfast to dinner, with large tables like at home, Flora Mikula has thought of everyone's tastes. On her menu, mountain dishes (fondue, truffle vacherin.), traditional family dishes (pot-au-feu, veal blanquette, peppered beef fillet...), soup bar. Or the grandiose (lobster salad, thin truffle Saint-Jacques tart, sole meunière, Wagyu...).

After the effort, comfort... a magnificent indoor pool, sauna, hammam, fitness room, and a spa with 3 cabins offering a delightful menu curated by Sophie Allouche, creator of the natural cosmetics brand Kos, like its iconic treatment. Inspired by kobido, an ancient Japanese art, it offers the effects of a natural facelift, with an immediate rejuvenating effect, thanks to the expertise of the masseuses and the exceptional virtues of prickly pear and açai berry.
In this altitude cocoon, everything is provided to make life sweet, with a Kids club for 4-12 year olds, ski room animated by Bernard Orcel, and an adorable team led by the friendly director Sébastien Tailpied.
