High-Tech

Richard Mille

Heralded at their initial release in 2001 as a break from the past and a new direction of horology, the wristwatches of Richard Mille were from their very inception, extraordinary and uncompromising.

Watch Time is it?

After managing the watch division at Matra, which was sold to Seiko, and spearheading Mauboussin's first watch campaigns, Richard Mille set up his company in 2001. From the outset, the brand applied a threefold philosophy: the sharpest cutting-edge technology, three-dimensional constructions shot through with pure mechanics, and hand-finishing. This strategy has never wavered, and the Richard Mille name has imposed itself with instantly recognisable timepieces at the forefront of innovation and openly inspired by racing cars and aeronautics. Keen to go beyond the traditional pattern for partners, Richard Mille designs timepieces that personally involve each sportsperson who is a partner of the "RM Family". They all wear their watches during competitions to test their true performances.

Pure performance

Richard Mille entered the world of professional golf in 2011. The Richard Mille philosophy is that real world conditions are applied to test the technology and performance. Golf is a precise sport with no concessions and compromises and is a perfect test for Richard Mille. Following on from Rafael Nadal, Pablo Mac Donough, Yohan Blake and Felipe Massa, the American golfer, Bubba Watson is also partner to the brand. Apart from being a big hitter, he is also one of the rare left handed players on the circuit.

This great champion is one of the best players of his generation and wears the RM 038 Tourbillon at all his international golf tournaments. Richard Mille then presented in 2012 the RM 055 Bubba Watson. A worthy successor to the RM 038 Bubba Watson, the RM 055 is a highly technical creation that is innovative, sporting and hand-finished in the finest watchmaking tradition.

Golf at the "Château"

The European Senior Tour, Terre Blanche has proudly welcomed the RICHARD MILLE INVITATIONAL on the « Château » course of the Professional 2013 season. Inaugurated in March 2004, « Le Château » is one of the best courses in Continental Europe. With 6616 meters, its spectacular water features and ravins, vast and rapid greens and great bunkeres of white sand, the location is up to very high standards. The course has been described as a challenge that demands précision and accuracy when executing long drive shots. The beautiful rolling course is open to golfers with a handicap/index of 25 or under and offers playing conditions worthy of any championship course.
