Diamonds are forever: a dream Benetti yacht at Cannes and MYS 2012

With such a name, you bet its owner, Mr John Staluppi, is a James Bond’s fan, and his yacht, Diamonds are forever, the longest and most spectacular one of the 2012 Cannes Boat Show. Super yacht Italian shipyard Benetti will display four new boats in its Classic Range: Imagination, Lyana, Illusion and Delfino.

Custom-built magnificence

Diamonds are forever has been custom-built along its owner’s requirements, balanced by the Benetti traditional naval architecture engineering and know-how, offering innovative style solutions in terms of space, comfort, services which grace an ultra-successful charter yacht.
One of the finest additional features is the top deck above the flybridge, with a private panoramic deck 12 meters above sea level, and a helicopter pad aft of the sundeck.
When it comes to accommodation solutions, it’s a James Bond movie set again: two panoramic master suites, four guest staterooms, a guest elevator to all decks, a full beam skylounge, open shaded deck spaces, a beauty parlour, a fitness room. The VIP suite on front main deck has got a split level; the Master Owners suite, with its private study, walk-in closets and plush main bedroom, is located forward upper deck, and both suites get a 180° sea view. London-based interior designer Evan K. Marshall/Usonia V chose the most precious and sensational wall and floor materials: marble, onyx, gold leaf, mother of pearl, crystal, Madrona wood. Who cares then if Benetti Diamonds are forever has got a 16 knots maximum speed, or if it can sail the 4.800 nautical miles across the ocean at 12 knots? On such a beauty, longer is better!
