Anjajavy or lost in the tropics

Just as those shipwrecked survivors of the TV series Lost are just starting to find their way out of that mysterious island, we are dreaming of ‘recharging our batteries’, far away from all signs of civilization. There on the peninsula of Anjajavy off of Madagascar, we can live in RobinsonCrusoe-style, naturally, without having to give up any comfort. Time out for Eden, in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

At the other end of the world?

Alone in the wilderness, in the midst of lush vegetation, dotted by vast stretches of aquatic plants, papyrus, tree ferns, climbing plants and other palm trees, you reach your exquisite bungalow with a solid rosewood structure and thatched roof in satrana fan palms. Off to the distance, hummingbirds, Malachite Kingfishers and Red Cardinal foodies are chirping happily away, celebrating, with each new day, this endless source of simple happiness. Even if you happen to come back emptied handed from fishing or hunting, no need to worry. The Relais & Châteaux Anjajavy has undoubtedly preserved the harmony of authentic nature, but not at the prize of luxury, for the Robison Crusoe’s for the day!

Time out for sports or just solitary daydreaming

Even if we are at the other end of the world, we don’t have to give up being an active sportsman! So go for it! Dive into the waters, catch a whopper, windsurf, go canoeing, water-skiing or wake-boarding or take out the catamaran, a complete range of water sports are available, you can share the joys of recreation with your peers. Even those who have not had the chance of leaving the continent and escaping from the omnipotence of civilization. For those of you who are more of a dreamer, mornings, caught up by the gorgeous scent of bonara flowers, they will hesitate between taking the Baobab path and the Crabe path before starting to doze off, immersed in the gentle fragrances of Ylang-Ylang, vanilla or clove, rocked by the talio tickling the tamarind tree seeds... Ah the happiness of being shipwrecked by choice!
