If you didn't know it yet, Coral Gables is like a city within the city of Miami. Less extravagant than the famous city from Florida, Coral Gables was created by the urbanist George Merrick in the 20's. His project ? Create a "garden city" with Venetian, Spanish, Gothic, Moorish and colonial influences. Thanks to this project, he also created a giant hotel, The Biltmore, alongside with Schultze and Weaver architects, inspired by Sevilla's Giralda.

A true architectural marvel, higher than the Liberty Tower of Miami. Here, you could meet Al Capone, Franklin D.Roosevelt, The Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Only beautiful people until the 1929 market crash. After many years of vagrancy (the hotel became a military camp, a dog hospital...), it became famous and marvelous again in the 90's, thanks to a 50 million dollars investment.

An oasis of calm

Unlike many modern and trendy hotel, The Biltmore is not minimalist but has a genuine soul ! Symbol of Florida's hospitality, it's more than a Hotel, it's a real establishment. Few minutes away from Coral Gables center, the hotel is really calm, with a massive tropical garden, a 18-holes golf course by Donald Ross himself, ten tennis courts and, above all, an exceptional swimming-pool of 2000m2 in which Johnny Weissmuller, the actor playing Tarzan, was giving swimming lessons ! Look no further, it really IS the biggest swimming-pool on the East Coast. Only one length in it will help you loose the extra calories you had at the Sunday Brunch, then, you will be able to relax in one of the mythical garden sheds.

A XXL welcoming

No less than 273 rooms and suites are waiting for you in this massive castle. Spacious and cozy, they are adorned with oriental carpets, pillars and king-size beds. They are also benefiting from exceptional views. If you need space, choose one of the two presidential suites, including the Merrick one, located on the 15th floor, featuring three rooms, three bathrooms, huge windows, two balconies with an amazing view on Coral Gables and private elevator. The top of comfort. On the design side, you will fall in love with the lobby and its original roof painted by hand, its French and Spanish furniture and its birdcages made of wood, hosting singing birds.

Four restaurants for every desire

Traditional gastronomy, gastronomic or mediterranean one, you will necessarily find your happiness in one of the four restaurants. Appropriate dress required at the "Palme d'Or", the hotel's gastronomic restaurant with view on the swimming-pool, where you will enjoy the Michelin-starred gastronomy of Chef Grégory Pugin. The only 5 stars AAA restaurant in Florida. It's worth the trip !
Feeling like Italia ? Go straight to Fontana and let yourself be tempted by the excellent wine list and the romantic terrace with its view on a wood-fountain. Any bonus ? The "Sunday Champagne Brunch ! "

If you want to have lunch facing the swimming-pool, gardens, and golf course in a both casual and sophisticated atmosphere, go to Cascade, a restaurant providing tapas, fresh and organic products and juices. Finally, in a really casual setting, you will enjoy simple meals at the 19th Hole Sports Bar & Grill. Then, join the Spa, located on the hotel's 7th floor to enjoy 1100m2 of cascades, peaceful colors, bamboo bridges and holistic experiences. Welcome to Miami !
