'63 Virtus, Riva's 170th anniversary edition

Quite an anniversary indeed for Ferreti's iconic brand Riva. MrBarilani's creation has come a long way in 170 years and today is the occasion for Ferreti Group to launch an exceptional anniversary edition, the Riva 63' Virtus.
A myth in the making

The reputation of Ferreti's flagship is not to make. Since the 50's, celebrities as Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor or Sean Connery purchased the boat for its unique wooden design. But the real celebrity is the Riva itself. Starring in movies such as Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile, the James Bonds, Indiana Jones or more recently Ocean's Twelve, the Italian boat is an unmistakable actor of 20th century's style. Jumping into the 21th century, Riva presents the 63' Virtus, the largest open yacht in the world. This Mediterranean style boat maintains the elegance of all the shipyard's models: class, refinement, and clean lines. '63 Virtus is designed to last, recapturing the strong character of the Rivale, another Riva open line, but incorporating larger spaces for on-board comfort. A celebration is scheduled to launch the new model, from June 27th to July 1st. La Spezia, Saint-Tropez, Monte-Carlo… all of he French and Italian Riviera will be mobilised to celebrate this timeless demonstration of craftmanship.
