Fall-winter fashion trends for women in a potpourri of greys
The latest in trends. This fall announces ultra feminine, we are sure to see women wrapped up in soft knitwear, sophisticated furs worked as if fabrics, dynamic colours, as well as disproportionately sized-accessories, that look like real works of art.
Farewell to black, hello to grey!
Grey is back. A symphony of light grey which is further enhanced by touches of pearls, steel, pebbles and flannel. Dior, Chanel, YSL… are having a real ball this season!
As for the star-- black, it is graciously retreating from the spotlight, but not completely disappearing from the scenes.
Balenciaga for example, has reinvented the everlasting small classical black dress, rejuvenating it, with bare shoulders and a slit in the front.
Opulence and ruches
Micro-flounces and ruches will also enrich collections. Concerning the sizes of accessories, they will be XXL. No more that tiny necklace, hidden under a collar, but rather imposing jewellery and shoes like works of art. These shoes are ‘not made for walking’, but rather for show!
Lastly, fashion will be a celebration of femininity, making the most out of mat and satin-like, flowing and mellow or dry fabrics. A real pleasure to rediscover the feminine side that is in all of us.
