Accessories and high waist trousers are back into fashion

Now the sales are finished, the new collections are now starting flourishing on the department stores shelves, revealing a very much renewed Autumn/Winter style. Baby-doll dresses, slim jeans or low waist trousers have disappeared... Here are the new fashion trends.

A XXL Winter?

We had just got used to the skinny look and its accessories such as boots and sandals. We were even ready to cope with it again this winter even if the lines are sometimes too suggestive. Well, this will not happen. Chuck them back into your cupboards. The XXL is making its big comeback. A profusion of fabric and infinitely long silhouettes will be the tendency of the winter, and especially, the high waist and large trousers. From Marc Jacobs to Givenchy, from Ungaro to DKNY, all designers have gone for the ample format! Ultra-chic or casual, anyone can choose. The only exception is the legging who seems to have survived from last year. Babara Bui, Issey Miyake or Comme des Garçons offer uninspired but comfortable models. As far as dresses are concerned, the baby-doll style, which was the must-have during the summer, is replaced by the voluminous dress. For those who relish showing their legs, the very, very short dresses keep on inspiring designers.

The waltz of accessories

If there is one essential accessory this winter, it is of course the hat. Berets, officer caps or headbands, your head will be the home to many eccentric creations. Gloves, whether they are short, long or half-long, will also be indispensable to your wardrobe. Let's hope this winter will be cold...
In a little more questionable taste, socks, straight or loose, will invite themselves into your pumps and extend the skirt. Finally, the ultimate accessory, the handbag, whether it is a Fendi pouch box or a Gucci shopping bag with handles, will finish off your look.
For those who could not live without the it-bag of the season, they can still rent it out by the week or by the month, with the risk of getting ruined. Whatever you choose, enjoy your shopping!
