Yom star at Moonstar

It is thanks to talent hunter, Moonstar, that Yom was discovered along side other artists Marc Ash, Patrick Laumond and Ruddy Candillon. This July, an exhibition of new sculptures by Yommarks the launch of his most recent series of monochromic porcelain works. Now is the time to (re)discover Yom's work with light and space.
“Invest yourself in the work of art, and invest in Art”

Since its creation in 2005, Moonstar has not strayed from its primary goal: to initiate the novice in the language of contemporary art, in order to guide the client in his choices, and perhaps in his future investments. The challenge is ambitious and daring, but with this year's success in the Commines, Moonstar has proven it is up to the task. Among a number French artists discovered by Moonstar, Yom has already won over a large audience with his hollowed sculptures that present three-dimensional spaces, which reveal a window on a fourth dimension. His work on the instability of the visual perception of an object, and the definition of a tangible space made of light, question our vision of the world and promote the possibility of attaining a higher understanding. The end result is both a visual and philosophical triumph.

Limited editions up for grabs!

The - future - followers of Yom have something to rejoice about, as a series of limited editions, signed and numbered by the artist, will be available in July. 50 original monochromic works have been developed around 5 forms (the sphere, the egg, the floating cube, the rectangle and the cube), created using state of the art techniques. The polyester plaster (porcelain) used in the fabrication of the works produces a texture that is both fragile and powerful, while the smooth finish makes for a cohesive whole. Right now, during this year's Venice Biennial, an investment would probably be a good idea!
