Silversands Grenada is partnering with local guides to connect guests with the island’s spectacular landscape. Families can take advantage of the sunnier climes and book a selection of boat trips on luxury yachts or traditional Carriacou sloops to visit the island’s famous underwater sculpture park and the Caribbean’s largest ship wreck the Bianca. C. Deep sea fishing, rock fishing, snorkelling and everything in between is also on offer in the warm seas. Back on land guests can soak up the sun or explore the islands historical nutmeg factories, century-old rum distilleries and the chocolate factories. Families lucky enough to be on island during December can enjoy the Carriacou Parang Festival which incorporates African Big Drum, Quadrille Dancing, Shakespeare Mas with more traditional Christmas carols. Higher octane activities include ATV tours from the rainforest to the coastline and river tubing adventures amongst the wildlife and vegetation. There are challenging hikes such as the Mount Qua Qua trail and easier routes for the whole family including the Morne LaBaye trail. Ecological sites are aplenty across the island, namely Lake Antoine and Mt. Hartman Dove Sanctuary which are must visits.

Silversands Grenada is home to 43 studio suites, 4 Hillside and 5 Beachfront Pool villas. Guest rooms and suites span across two main buildings off Grand Anse Beach, encompassing 39 open-plan guestrooms, three one-bedroom suites, and a sprawling penthouse. Families can choose from various combinations of interconnecting rooms and suites, each accommodating up to two adults and one child, or one of the three or four-bedroom pool villas. Beachfront Pool Villas offer direct access to the beach, while the Hillside Pool Villas afford awe-inspiring views of the resort and ocean. Both villas offer expansive decking and spectacular entertaining areas, ideal for entertaining the whole family. The villas provide access to the resort’s 24-hour service and premium experiences, catering for every member of the family. The unique selling point of the villas is that each individual bedroom is a master bedroom, built as its own standalone pavilion allowing families to stay together but still have their own space and privacy.

Dining options are varied and include The Grenadian Grill, a beach club-style lunch and dinner restaurant serving casual fare, including a selection of authentic Grenadian dishes. By day, families can visit straight from the beach and enjoy leisurely light lunches al fresco; at night, once the children have gone to bed, there are live bands and DJs stationed in the sand for the adults to enjoy. The Grenadian Grill also offers a raw bar, as well as an impressive wine list with over 100 pours from around the world.Asiatique, the resort’s elegant Asian restaurant, only open for dinner, serves modern cuisine with a focus on rich Asian flavours and crudos created from ingredients abundant on Grenada. Adults can indulge after dinner at the cigar and rum bar, Puro. The intimate lounge-style space features a boutique collection of rare, small batch rums from the best distilleries, including locally-sourced Grenadian rums and a meticulously selected range of fine cigars sourced from all over the globe.
Exemplifying the resort’s commitment to supporting the Grenadian community and culture, Silversands Grenada has partnered with GRENROP (Grenada Network of Rural Women Producers), which provides farming jobs to a network of 50 single mothers on Grenada. Silversands Grenada also sources the majority of fruits and vegetables through GRENROP, providing a direct and meaningful benefit to the women who belong to the group.

After a full day exploring the island, guests aged 16 and above can retreat to the Silversands Spa which is cleverly built around a light-filled swimming pool creating an indoor/outdoor effect with an open-top ceiling. Here guests can unwind with locally-inspired treatments or half/full day packages which combined spa rituals inspired by local ingredients and traditional techniques. Highlights include the Soul to Sole transformative signature spa treatment and the Quartz Sand Massage. This tranquil sanctuary includes four treatment rooms, a sauna, Hammam, ice cave, experience shower, hair and nail bar and a Technogym fitness centre. The relaxation area with poolside cabanas has been designed to create a cocoon of calm before and after treatments.
