World Premier Q39 at the last Yachting Festival Cannes

Building on four generations of sophisticated Dutch shipbuilding expertise, Qnautic produces yachts and tenders of unprecedented Quality. With the Q39, Qnautic has developed a superb new model that sets new standards in the high-end market segment of RIBs, chase boats, tenders and luxury day boats. The Q39 distinguish itself by the unique combination of three key elements being: performance, safety and detailing.

Origin & Design

Q39

The Q39 is based on a GRP monohull crew boat for offshore wind farms, which in turn builds on a basic design pioneered by the Norwegian coastguard. The boat was developed with a simple yet exacting brief: to be capable of safely transporting 12 people to and from offshore wind farms at high speeds in any and all conditions. The designers of Vripack Naval Architects transformed this rugged and proven design into an exclusive RIB with extraordinary detailing and excellent seagoing capabilities.

Exterior

Q39

The walkaround deck plan ensures safety, easy movement and well-being on board. Unique for a RIB are the raised tubes with a high inside freeboard that protect the entire one-level deck layout from bow to stern and provide comfort and safety. The deck comes in synthetic teak with in a special pattern. The custom made T-top is made with a great attention to detail and design and covers the helm station and outside bar area. An important feature are the ergonomics at the helmstation for safe sailing and the windshield guarantees a perfect 360 degrees view while underway. Two special SHOXS shock absorbing seats make the pilot and co-pilot sit side by side. The same level of comfort and safety is available for two more crew on another two SHOXS seat located aft of the helm station area. Aft of the yacht the lounge area is located with a large and comfortable sunbathing area that doubles as a seating area. A cosy bench is situated in the bow. The boat is also equipped with an optional easy anchoring system supported by a camera that is directly connected to the chart-plotter located at the helm station.

Exceptional safety

Q39 - safety

The Q39 is not floating on its tubes: it is a real boat. The high inside freeboard on the Q39, which is not featured on any other RIB, minimises the chances of passengers falling overboard in rough seas or when taking corners at speed. Moreover, the safety belts and shock-absorbing seats hold everyone in place even in the roughest seas. And the powerful hull guarantees safe seakeeping capabilities. The CE-A Ocean classification of the boat is unique for a RIB.

Extraordinary performance

Q39 - Triple 400 hp Mercury Verado Racing

Triple Mercury Verado engines of 400 hp each enable the boat to reach a whopping top speed of some 55 to 60 knots. The offshore deep-V hull, with the tubes mounted at a higher position than seen elsewhere in the boatbuilding industry, allows the Q39 to outperform any other RIB in terms of handling, ride comfort and seagoing capabilities.
You’ll be effortlessly, intuitively and completely in control of your boat at all times thanks to The Mercury Joystick Piloting system is installed in order to be in complete control of the boat and to make docking and manoeuvring in small areas an easy action.
