The only star-awarded restaurant with a stage
If you have never experienced a cultural-gastronomic event at the Scène Thélème restaurant, the arrival of Julien Roucheteau (ex La Table du Lancaster) commander-in-chief in the kitchen will give you a second reason to get your places booked as soon as possible.
On stage !
Unique in Paris, La Scène Thélème offers both a theatrical performance followed by a Michelin-starred dinner ! And attention, what happens on stage does not affect what happens in the kitchen, because since its creation the restaurant offers a rich and tasty cuisine, just as we like it. On the show part, you can expect 10 performances each year, seating 50 people. The dining room is set in a sober decor. The essential is happening on the plate ...
New in the kitchen
Absent for some time from the two Michelin-starred restaurant of the Hotel Lancaster, Chef Julien Roucheteau resurfaced at the beginning of the season to take the lead at La Scène Thélème, succeeding the great Pierre Rigothier. After the Maison de l'Aubrac, the FourSeasons - George V (Philippe Legendre era) and La Table du Lancaster, he arrived with a sensational menu prepared in close collaboration with the director of the restaurant Frédéric Pedrono (Ex Ledoyen *** ).
On the program, several high-profile dishes : freshness (think of the delicate transparency of langoustines with the aroma of shiso leaves in a light essential oil cream) astringency (beautiful browned scallops with fresh hazelnuts, served with a fluffy radicchio cream) and Humus (a supreme piece of roasted veal, simply smoked with chestnut shells served with cep mushroom caps). At La Scène Thélème we escape from the traditional entry-main course-dessert menu to opt for more personal choices either in 4 courses (the Promenade menu) or in 8 courses (In the steps of Julien). In short, surprises, delicious food combined with culture, a good bet, thumbs up for this creative new concept.
