Who wants to buy Michael Schumacher Ferrari F2001 ?

Guess what ? Michael Schumacher's 2001 World Championship-Winning F1 Car Is for Sale !

This is a call to collectors in love with Formula One and other billionaires who want to decorate their garden or garage with a piece of collection : the Ferrari F2001 formerly owned by Michael Schumacher will be on sale, thanks to Sotheby's, during the "Contemporary Art Evening Auction" taking place in New York during November. Remember, thanks to this racing car and its no. 211 chassis, the German racing driver won its fourth world championship in 2011 (the occasion for Ferrari to win its 11th constructor title), as well as his final Monaco Grand Prix the same year.

This vintage Formula 1 is even more symbolic that it's part of the Ferrari line with which Schumi mainly dominated the motor sports world, in particular with its long line of consecutive victories between 2000 and 2004. "A record period that might never be equalled" according to Sotheby's. The fans also remember the powerful noise of its Ferrari Tipo V10 engine that could reach 18 500 revolutions per minute.

Known as one of the most famous and invaluable competition carriage in the world, the F2001 might be sold by auction for more than 4 million of dollars. If it's sold as a collection piece, it also still can be used and, if the future owner doesn't know where to store it, Ferrari can keep it in Maranello and deliver it to the buyer, whenever and wherever he needs it (exhibition for example), with some technicians from the Scuderia.
