Our favorite private British Virgin Islands

Why should you spend holidays with unknown people when you can be alone with your beloved, friends or family... If you're looking for a romantic, sporty, discreet, luxurious or gastronomic escape, go straight to private islands from British Virgin Islands.

The most discreet one, Guana Island

From your arrival to Tortola airport, a boat drives you in only 15 minutes to this discreet and sophisticated island. Its story was marked by the presence, from the 18th Century, of a Quaker community. The island of 350 hectares has the Sugarloaf Mountain as its highest summit (241 meters). Here, the top of gastronomy is to be savored thanks to Chef Xavier Gili who cooks tropical products from his own orchard. Pink flamingos and iguanas are also part of this Garden of Eden.

The most eco-friendly one, Cooper Island Eco Beach Club

We can only fall in love with this charming family eco-resort, close to the most beautiful snorkelling and scuba-diving places including the Royal Mall Steamer Rhone grounded 150 years ago and the famous cave from "Treasure Island" by Stevenson, with hundreds of fishes and turtles. Its restaurant and rum bar with more than 100 references attracts the beautiful people.

The smallest one, Saba Rock Island

Really small but unescapable, this island located on the prestigious Virgin Gorda bay is the neighbor of Neker Island (Richard Branson), Eustatia (Larry Page, Google co-founder), Yacht Club Costa Esmeralda (Aga Kahn)... facing the famous Bitter End Yacht Club. Its 8 rooms nicely decorated are named after Caribbean Islands and, we love to savor a cocktail or a diner here.

The most legendary one, Peter Island Resort & Spa

30 minutes away by boat from Tortola, Peter Island is the most important private island from British Virgin Islands, famous for its story with legendary pirate Blackbeard. Only 15% of its surface area is exploited to leave space to a genuine haven of peace with strolls at the heart of the nature opportunities. The lovers appreciate the privatization of the "Honey Moon Beach" made of white sand but also the Spa specialized in ayurvedic treatments or the "sunset" cocktail with an amazing view on the Virgin Islands. So romantic !
