Palácio Belmonte

The oldest and most authentic palace of Lisbon has a name : the Palácio Belmonte, a haven of peace, intimacy and discretion highlighting the Portuguese charms. Behind two beautiful and huge red doors you will find ten suites, all different with terraces giving sight on the capital city, a Mediterranean garden, a lovely swimming-pool in a preserved setting with traditional azulejos for a unique experience full of charms and tranquility.

- The Ricardo Reis Terrace suite (90m²)

This suite enjoys an amazing natural light and a warm terrace giving sight on Tagus river, the palace's garden and swimming-pool. In his large room, it preserved some original murals and lovely blue azulejos (mosaic) created by Valentim de Almeida. Its also features a small kitchen and large living-room.

- The Amadeo de Souza Cardoso Terrace suite (120m²)

This suite also features some nice azulejos, perfectly fitting with the large living-room, its fireplace, dining-room and bedroom welcoming a queen size bed with canopy. A wonderful natural light is provided by a veranda giving sight on the Tagus river and the garden. Its private terrace and marble bathroom make it the perfect charming luxurious cocoon.



- The Bartolomeu de Gusmão Terrace suite (110m²)

This double suite with high ceilings and azulejos takes place on three levels at the heart of an old Muslim tower dating from the 8th century. Its panoramic terrace owns an amazing sight on the Alfama neighborhood and Tagus river.

- The Gil Vicente Terrace Suite (162m²)

This is the biggest suite of the palace with a winter garden and terrace on the upper level giving sight on the Tagus river and São Jorge Castle. Its large living spaces and bathroom made of white marble make it a romantic suite for a quiet stay.

- The Alberto Caeiro family suite (100m²)

With its two bedrooms, living-room, bathroom and shower room, this suite is perfect for families. It enjoys a sight on the palace's garden and swimming-pool

- The Egas Moniz family suite (100m²)

In this family suite with two bedrooms, living-room and bathroom, you will find back the famous azulejos dating from the 18th century and an atmosphere full of History thanks to the Arabic ceilings.

- The Padre Himalaya Honeymoon suite (77m²)

Romantic cocoon for the lovers on two levels, this suite owns a 360° sight on the Tagus river and Alfama neighborhood. Its marble bathroom welcomes a shower and a sunken bathtub.



- The Fernão Mendes Pinto suite (29m²)

The smaller suite of the palace owns a beautiful sight on the river, some high ceilings, an antechamber and a bathroom which kept a fissure from the famous Lisbon earthquake dating from 1755.

- The Fernão Magalhães suite (45m²)

This double suite is located on the first level of the Western Muslim tower. It enjoys a beautiful sight on the palace and its patio.

- The Agostinho da Silva suite (61m²)

A double suite with typical Portuguese architecture and design with sight on Lisbon rooftops and sky with a terrace on the roof.
