Ines de La Fressange: new global spokesperson for L'Oréal, Paris

First French model to achieve international renown, Ines de La Fressange is the embodiment of Parisian elegance and a symbol of timeless French chic. She is now joining the large family of Ambassadors for L’Oréal Paris.

Ines de La Fressange started her modelling career when she was 17 and soon took part in fashion shows for designers including Kenzo, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Christian Lacroix. She was Karl Lagerfeld's muse at Chanel for several years and in 1991 she created her own brand, "Ines de la Fressange," with a store on the avenue Montaigne. She, alongside Bruno Frisoni, has helped boost the Roger Vivier brand to its former glory over the past couple of years. Last year she wrote a book entitled Parisian Chic: A Style Guide by Inès de La Fressange, about her famous Parisian style and her favorite places in Paris. And now, she’s been signed to L’Oréal, following in the illustrious footsteps of Milla Jovovich, Beyonce Knowles, Diane Kruger, Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Lopez, among others.

As a beloved Parisian style star, and at 53-years-old, she’s an unusual and awesome choice. In a release she said, “Beauty is a real source of freedom. I believe in the slogan, ‘Because we’re worth it!’ I love those words, which are still perfectly relevant today.”
