Château du Grand-Lucé
Originally a summer palace commissioned by Baron Jacques Pineau from Viennay to the architect Mathieu de Bayeux, the Château du Grand-Lucé was erected in 1764. It is one of the most important examples French neoclassical architecture of the 18th century. it will open next June under the Pilot Hotels banner. The 4000 m2 building will have 17 unique rooms and suites, including two sumptuous apartments. The Baron's suite will be the most spectacular, thanks to its Chinese living room, library, small lounge and entrance overlooking the fabulous gardens. Gastronomy will be at the rendezvous with a restaurant called "Le Lucé". A spa in partnership with Maison Caulières will ensure the well-being part. The castle park, surrounded by a medieval rampart, covers almost 30 hectares. Renowned for its dazzling French gardens, the estate is worthy of the chateaux and vineyards of the Loire Valley to which it belongs...
